Opening day

October 18, 2026

The studio is a day old and the game already has its own website, its own address and a page on itch.io. We picked the colours, the mascot and the way the sign says “wet floor.” Next up: more nights, more surprises and more ways to get chased by a shopping cart.

🧱 v29: Rock Solid

2026-10-18

• 🏬 A brand-new front door: six big tiles instead of a mile-long list. Rusty approves. Rusty approves of everything.
• 🖥️ Graphics: Auto, High, Low or Lowest — the store now runs on the oldest tablet in the house. The zombies were not consulted.
• 🔐 The burglar's secret list is sealed until it's stolen. Not even a clerk host can peek. (We checked. We tried.)
• 🔗 Move your scores to another device with a one-time code. 🎮 itch.io now opens the real store, keeping your scores safe.
• 🛒 Back in a Grand Prix? You keep your lap. 🏗️ Built stores reach your friends faster, and old Speed-Clean bests come along.
• 🧱 Every known leftover swept up, the online side checked at every door, and 30-minute stress tests for every mode.

🌍 v28: Out in the Wild

2026-10-18

• 🌍 The store has its own address now: cleanuponaislescream.com. Anyone can clock in. Anyone. Even him. Especially him.
• 🏠 The family site, with its own 🏠 Family boards — sign in with your email and your scores follow you onto any device.
• 📦 Scores from the old page came along in the moving van. Find yours under "These are mine" (please don't claim Dad's).
• 📱 Add it to your iPad's Home Screen: its own icon, full screen, solo nights with no Wi-Fi — and ⚡ it runs about twice as fast. The zombies do too. Sorry.
• 📁 One file to copy to any computer and double-click. 🎮 And a page on itch.io, for when the whole internet needs a night job.
• 🚩 Report a rude name or a suspicious score, and the owner takes a look. 🔒 Nothing kept but a nickname and your scores.

🧹 v27.1: Fix-up & Polish 6

2026-10-13

• 🛒 Cart Race ghosts moved into their own garage. Your Speed-Clean ghosts can finally stop being haunted by shopping carts.
• 🛒 Friend left the Grand Prix? A rival hops into their cart, mid-lap. Rusty has always wanted a promotion.
• ⏱️ Co-op Speed-Clean: everyone taps GO and the countdown skips. No more tapping your foot.
• 🎵 The safe floor glows on the minimap too. You're welcome, wet socks.
• 🍌 Banana patches stay slippery when the host changes. Physics is physics.
• 🏗️ Boards for built stores you don't have, old shared stores that stay with their builder, and no more 0-point runs on the boards.
